Empfehlung: Complete Reprise Studio Recordings Die Alternative zum Kauf der einzelnen Sinatra-CDs der Reprise-Phase ist die Anschaff- ung weiter unten angeführter Gesamt- Edition. Hier bekommt der Käufer auf zwanzig CDs alle Studio-Aufnahmen der Jahre 1960-88 in chronologischer Reihenfolge, was also bedeutet, dass die Songabfolge der Original-Platten (leider) nicht eingehalten wird. Dafür bekommt man zusätzlich zu den auf den Original-Alben zu hörenden Titeln an die achtzig zum Teil sehr rare Songs inklusive aller längst nicht mehr erhältlichen Singles. Nun denn, musikalisch lohnt sich die Anschaffung dieser Edition, welche wahlweise in einem Lederkoffer (streng limitiert und nicht ganz billig) sowie in einer um einiges preiswerteren Sparausgabe (Kartonschuber) angeboten wird, auf alle Fälle - zumindest bis zum Jahre 1965. Für alle danach entstandenen Aufnahmen kann ich allerhöch- stens eine nur bedingte Empfehlung aussprechen, Songauswahl und stimmliche Verfassung sind in den Jahren nach 1965 oftmals nicht gerade optimal.
